Please check back often, as I'll be adding more things.

Welcome! I hope you find this site informative and fun. You'll find pictures of my own cakes and of ones that I find creative and unique. I'll be adding new ones as I make my own or ones that others have done that I'm sure you'll find helpful in your creative endeavor.

Tips and Techniques will be provided and will cover a wide variety of areas. Ones which I'm currently learning and ones that I find interesting. As you know tips are endless and very helpful when taking up this "Art". If you have any "Tips/Techniques" you'd like to share please feel free to email me and I'll share them and give you credit!

You will find many "LINKS" here too...Maybe too many, but I fall in love with each and everyones cake site and feel that each provides me and you some insight to the creativity of this "Art". If your a beginner you'll see many different ideas to get your creative juices flowing and if your advanced you'll find some sites and ideas you might not be using already.

My passion for this "Edible Art" began about a year ago when I attempted my first cake, it was for my youngest son. He wanted "A Bugs Life" cake. So I purchased the character cake pan and found that I enjoyed doing the cake so much that I volunteered myself to do a cake for my friends son that very day! Keep in mind I really hadn't learned much from doing the first cake but I was excited about the endless possiblities this opportunity would give me.

The cake that started it all...I have to laugh now as I look at it...I used store bought icing (nothing wrong with those) but they don't do well when piped as 100's of stars. But I've learned alot from that cake and continue to learn to this day!
